Larry M Leith

Larry M. Leith is a professor in the Department of Physical Education and Health at the University of Toronto. He holds a cross-appointment with the Department of Behavioral Sciences in the Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Leith teaches undergraduate courses in sport psychology and administration and organizational behavior. He also taught health psychology for many years; he has designed and implemented a graduate course entitled Exercise Psychology, utilizing many of the concepts covered in this textbook. Dr. Leith has published and presented over 140 articles dealing with health psychology, sport psychology, and exercise psychology. He attempts to practice what he preaches by participating in regular jogging and walking programs. His favorite sports at this point in time are golf and tennis. Larry and his wife, Nancy, reside in Guelph, Ontario.
